Convidad has broad experience as a near shoring IT services provider. The organisation and the processes between the headquarter, the client and the Development office are all known practice.

The Process

The Development team operates in an environment in which everybody takes responsibility for the success of the projects they are working on. In order to achieve this, the company works with dedicated client-focused teams and approaches projects using Scrum, an agile methodology.

The user stories in a product backlog describe the software solution which are realised in a steady heartbeat of sprints. Apart from the clear advantages of using an agile methodology instead of traditional approaches, it has become obvious that the team has more fun working on projects using scrum. Also it brings more transparency to clients, they know the team's progress at daily basis. As a result our projects are delivered within budget and on time.

The Development team are in close contact with the product owners/project team members at the clients of Convidad. We stimulate our clients to visit the Development office in Barcelona and meet our developers in person.
